I am an attorney in the heart of dixie.  I work in the public interest field, though I’m sure much of the public where I live wishes I didn’t.  I used to be a corporate litigator, but it wasn’t for me.  Prior to moving to Alabama in pursuit of justice, I had very limited contact with the South. I grew up in California and was educated in New England.  I think I am a Southerner at heart.  Other things you should know: I am enamored with academia. I’m not the best owner to my dog, but she knows I try.  I am a great owner to my car. I train in brazilian jiu jitsu. I used to study the science of eight limbs, but there are no schools near my new home.  I am petite. I like things to be orderly – this means I like to clean, I like to pay bills, and I like putting together furniture. My closet is in a constant state of disarray.
